COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Mike started his life with Grammarians when his son Jake joined the under 9's in 2003. In January 2004 Mike became a coach, alongside Dave Aitken for the under 9's team. The following year saw the under 9's step up to under 10's and the squad being split into the blues and clarets resulting in a team apiece for Mike and Dave. After a good season at under 10's both teams finished together in the league. With the departure of Dave Mike was joined by Rick Campbell to take the team into 11 aside and in 2006 the team became league champions with a formidable performance of unbeaten games and gave Grammarians their first league championship win. Mike has also been responsible for the organisation of the Grammarians 1st and 2nd annual tournaments with the great asistance from Gary and Tony and is looking forward to the 3rd tournament in August 2009.
After standing in as acting Chairman for the latter pat of the 2008/09 season Mike was voted in as Chairman for the 2009/10 season at the annual AGM in June 2009.
